Emergent OnLine Received Competitive
Award to Deliver Information Assurance Solution for FDIC
Reston, VA. –
December 15, 2004 – Emergent OnLine today announced
that it has received a competitive award to deliver an
integrated information assurance solution for the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC.gov).
The requirements called for an integrated SSL VPN
solution with multi-factor authentication for 3,600
users. The solution delivered by Emergent OnLine
included best-of-breed components from Juniper Networks
(Neoteris) for the SSL VPN, and Secure Computing for the
Safeword Premier Access two-factor authentication.

The solution benefits FDIC allowing their Auditors and
